Neighbor Connections
Porchaven™ is designed from the ground up to make it easy — even natural — to know your neighbors. These aren't programs. They're the rhythms of daily life.
Front Porches by Design
Every home in Porchaven™ features a front porch oriented toward the street, shorter front yards, and shared green spaces — not a backyard wall. Architecture that invites a wave, a conversation, and a friendship.
Shared Commons in Every Haven
(except Promanade, which is for Promenade Residents & their guests.) Each Haven has its own commons area — a natural gathering heart where residents cross paths daily, linger over coffee, and build the casual familiarity that becomes real community.
Neighbor Circles
Small, opt-in neighbor circles of 8–12 households meet regularly for shared meals, mutual support, and simply knowing each other. The antidote to anonymous neighborhood living.
Intergenerational Mentoring
Porchaven™ intentionally bridges generations. Elders share wisdom and life experience; younger residents bring energy and fresh perspective. Everyone has something to teach and something to learn.
Welcome Circles for New Residents
Every new resident is welcomed into the community through a structured Welcome Circle — introductions, a shared meal, and a personal guide to help them find their place in Porchaven™.
Community Care Network
Neighbors look out for neighbors. Porchaven™'s Community Care Network coordinates practical support — meals during illness, help after surgery, rides to appointments, and a watchful eye on those who live alone.
